The Malaysia Sustainable Campus Network (MYSUN) is excited to announce the launch of our Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) MYSUN: Bringing Future Campus Today! #MYSUNMOOC

The creation of a Sustainable Campus MOOC will facilitate access to the knowledge and skills developed there to potential participants from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds and will be accessible to those from remote areas for whom it would be otherwise difficult to access new training through more traditional methods.

MYSUN: Bringing Future Campus Today will provide an innovative way for HEI students and staff to acquire the related knowledge and skills, and will be extended to external stakeholders seeking to continue developing their own skills through lifelong learning.

The following topics are covered:

• Module 1 - Introduction to Sustainability
• Module 2 - Sustainable Campus
• Module 3 - Water Efficiency
• Module 4 - Energy Management
• Module 5 - Waste Management
• Module 6 - Financial Sustainability
• Module 7 - Sustainable Lifestyle

Learners who receive at least 60 points out of a possible 100 will receive Certificate of Completion.

Participants in the MOOC will also be invited to join the #MYSUNCHALLENGE on social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok), where they can highlight aspects of their campus that are sustainable, or raise a flag for aspects that need to be changed to make the campus more sustainable.

The MOOC will run from 20.06.2022 – 31.08.2022. We invite all interested in university campuses’ sustainability & energy efficiency to join our online course and spread the work about #sustainablecampus.
